Welcome to the Detrack Driver App! This guide will help you quickly understand how to perform key actions for deliveries and collections. Please ensure your phone has granted location and GPS access to the Detrack app for smooth navigation and tracking.

Deliveries

Capturing and Managing Proof of Delivery (POD)

Proof of Delivery (POD) ensures that deliveries are completed successfully and provides verification in case of disputes. Capturing POD through signatures and photos helps maintain accurate records and builds trust between drivers, recipients, and businesses.

  • How to Capture Signature for Delivery
    Tap on the delivery, select "Signature," have the recipient sign on the screen, and save.

  • How to Remove Signature for Delivery
    Open the delivery, tap "Signature," and select "Remove."

  • How to Capture Photo Proof for Delivery
    Open the delivery, tap "Photo Proof," take a clear photo, and save.

  • How to Remove Photo Proof for Delivery
    Select the captured photo and tap "Remove."

  • How to Write a Note for a Delivery

    Tap "Notes," enter details, and save.

Managing Delivery Items

Handling delivery items efficiently ensures that orders are accurate, complete, and properly documented. Being able to reject, adjust, or add proof for items helps drivers maintain high service quality and address discrepancies on the spot.

  • How to View Delivery Items
    Open the delivery and check the item list.

  • How to Reject a Delivery Item
    Select the item, tap "Reject," and provide a reason.

  • How to Un-reject a Delivery Item
    Open the rejected item, tap "Undo Reject."

  • How to Take Photo Proof for Delivery Item
    Tap on the item, select "Photo Proof," capture the image, and save.

  • How to Remove Photo Proof for Delivery Item
    Select the item’s photo and tap "Remove."

  • How to Change Quantity for a Delivery Item

    Open the item, adjust the quantity, and save.

Updating the Job Status of a Delivery

Updating delivery statuses in real-time ensures accurate tracking and helps businesses stay informed about the progress of each order. Drivers need to correctly mark deliveries as completed or failed to keep operations running smoothly.

  • How to Submit Delivered Status
    Open the delivery, confirm details, and tap "Delivered." This marks a delivery as Completed

  • How to Submit Failed Delivery Status
    Open the delivery, select "Failed," provide a reason, and save.This marks a delivery as Failed

  • How to Resend a Wrongly Sent/Failed POD Status

    Open the delivery, update the status, and re-submit the POD. Note: Resending POD triggers email notifications.

Driver Actions & Navigation

Effective communication and navigation help drivers reach delivery locations efficiently and contact recipients when needed. The ability to transfer jobs and grab marketplace jobs also allows for flexibility in managing workloads.

  • How to Call Recipient
    Tap "Call" on the delivery details page.

  • How to Start GPS Navigation to Delivery Location
    Tap "Navigate" to launch GPS navigation.

  • How to Transfer Job from Driver to Driver
    Driver 1 (Initiating Transfer):
    Open the job, select "Transfer," and choose the receiving driver.

    Driver 2 (Receiving Transfer Request): Accept or reject the entire job.

  • How to Grab Jobs from Marketplace
    Tap "Marketplace," review available jobs, and tap "Grab."

  • How to Capture Mass POD
    Tap "Mass POD," select jobs, capture POD, and submit.

  • How to Scan Individual Item Barcode
    Open the item, tap "Scan Barcode," and scan.

  • How to Re-attempt a Failed Delivery Job
    Open the job, select "Re-attempt," and proceed.

  • How to Scan Barcodes to Search for a Specific Delivery
    Tap "Search," scan the barcode.

  • How to Enter Payment Amount for Cash on Delivery (COD)
    Enter the amount. If it is less than the expected payment, an alert will appear.


Collections

Capturing and Managing Proof of Collection (POC)

Proof of Collection (POC) ensures that items have been successfully picked up and properly recorded. Signatures and photo proofs help prevent disputes and provide a clear record of collection activities.

  • How to Capture Signature for Collection
    Tap "Signature," have the sender sign, and save.

  • How to Remove Signature for Collection
    Open the collection, tap "Signature," and remove.

  • How to Capture Photo Proof for Collection
    Tap "Photo Proof," take a photo, and save.

  • How to Remove Photo Proof for Collection
    Select the photo and remove.

  • How to Write a Note for Collection

Managing Collection Items

  • How to View Collection Items
    Open the collection and check the item list.

  • How to Reject a Collection Item
    Select "Reject," provide a reason.

    Tap on the item, select "Photo Proof," and capture an image.

  • How to Start GPS Navigation to Collection Location
    Tap "Navigate" to launch GPS navigation.

  • How to Start Head to Location Status
    Open the collection and tap "Head to Location."

  • How to Select Arrived at Location Status
    Tap "Arrived."

  • How to Enter Temperature
    Tap "Temperature," input value, and save.

  • How to Enter Weight
    Tap "Weight," input value, and save.

  • How to Scan and Enter Job Barcode
    Tap "Scan Barcode," scan, and confirm.

  • How to Scan to Pick Up Packages

    Tap "Scan to Pick Up," scan, and save.
