If you want to prevent drivers from scanning the same barcode multiple times in a job, you can set up this condition in the Detrack Admin Dashboard. This helps prevent drivers from accidentally scanning a previously scanned barcode for a new item.

In this tutorial, we will walk you through how to enable the setting from your dashboard.

  1. In your Detrack Admin dashboard, navigate to Settings > Job

  2. In the job setting page, click on the “Option” tab

  3. Scroll down to Job Options

  4. Enable the option “Prevent Duplicate Barcode Scans”

Once you enable this setting, drivers will see a pop-up warning if they try to scan a barcode that has already been scanned in the job.

That is it! You’ve now learned how to enable prevent drivers from scanning the same barcode multiple times in a job.
