Need to insert last-minute jobs into a driver’s active plan? Detrack makes it easy to add adhoc, unrouted jobs directly into an existing route without needing to recreate or re-optimize everything.
This feature works similarly to job transfers, but is specifically designed for jobs not currently assigned to any route.
Ways to Add Jobs to a Route
There are two primary entry points for adding jobs to a route:
Method 1: From the Jobs Table
Navigate to the Jobs table.
Select the job(s) you wish to add to a route.
Click the Actions button.
From the dropdown menu, select 'Add jobs to route'.
Method 2: From the Route Page
Navigate to the specific Route Page you wish to modify.
Click on the 'Add job' button.
In the prompt, type in the Delivery Order (DO) numbers of the jobs you would like to add.
Completing the Addition
Once you have initiated the process via either method:
Select the target route to which you would like to add the job(s):
Observe that the new stops will be reflected accordingly on the map and in the route details on the right side of the screen.
After the addition is complete, you will be automatically redirected back to the route page to view the updated route with the newly added jobs.
