The Map's Filter feature allows you to manage the jobs, vehicles, or drivers displayed, enabling you to quickly focus on essential information for live operations monitoring or route planning.
Step 1: Open the Map
From your Detrack dashboard, click on the Map tab.
The Map view will open in either Live View or Select Mode (Beta), depending on your last setting
Step 2: Filtering the Map
On the top-right of the Map screen, click the Filter button. The filter panel will appear:
Choose your filter options. You can filter the map by the following:
Assign To – This displays the jobs for a selected driver/vehicle.
Group – This displays the jobs assigned to a specific group (eg. team/customer).
Run No. – This displays the jobs linked to a particular run number.
Order No. - This displays the jobs associated to an Order Number
Zone - This displays the jobs associated to a zone (eg. North, South)
Detrack Job Type – This displays the jobs associated with a job type (eg. All jobs, Delivery only, Collection only)
Time window - This displays the jobs associated with a time window (eg. Morning, Afternoon)
3. After entering your filter criteria, click the blue Filter button. The map will refresh and display only the filtered jobs/vehicles.
4. To clear your filters and return to the full map view, click Reset in the filter panel.
Step 3: Planning Routes with Filters
The filter can also help you plan optimized routes for specific drivers, groups, or job types.
Switch to Select Mode (Beta) at the top of the Map.
Apply your preferred filters (e.g., by Group, Detrack Job Type, or Assign To.).
Once the map shows only the relevant jobs, use your mouse to select the jobs directly on the map. Click the Plan Single Route or Plan Multiple Routes button.
Detrack will generate an optimized route for the filtered and selected jobs.
