For Cash on Delivery (COD) jobs, you can make it mandatory for drivers to enter the payment amount collected before submitting their Proof of Delivery (POD). This ensures accurate cash collection tracking and prevents drivers from forgetting to record payments.
You can configure this setting via Settings > Job > POD.
Enable the "Driver must enter payment amount" setting. This will make payment amount entry mandatory for any job that has a payment amount specified. To learn how to set up payment amounts for jobs, refer to How To Use The Cash on Delivery (COD) Feature.
Driver App Experience
When this setting is enabled and a payment amount has been set for the job:
Tap to select job. Jobs requiring payment amount entry will display a dollar sign icon ($).
Tap on the Photo POD button.
Scroll down and select Enter Paid Amount.
Enter paid amount and select OK.
Note: If the entered amount is less than the expected payment amount, an alert will appear to notify the driver of the discrepancy.
Note: If the driver attempts to submit POD without entering the payment amount, a prompt will be displayed to inform the driver to enter the paid amount. The driver cannot proceed with POD submission until the payment amount is entered.
