For temperature-sensitive deliveries or collections, you can make it mandatory drivers to record the temperature before submitting their Proof of Delivery (POD). This is useful for industries like cold chain logistics, food delivery, pharmaceuticals, or any business that needs to track temperature conditions during transport.
Setting up
To enable this feature, you need to configure two settings:
Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Job > Fields and enable the Temperature field.Click Save.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings > Job > POD and enable Driver must enter temperature.Click Save.
Once both settings are enabled, drivers will be required to enter the temperature before they can submit the POD.
Driver App Experience
When this setting is enabled:
Tap the camera icon.
Choose Enter Temperature.
Enter the temperature value, tap OK, and proceed to submit the POD.
Note: If the driver attempts to submit POD without entering the temperature, a pop-up will appear prompting them to enter the temperature before proceeding.
Viewing the Temperature on the dashboard
Once the driver has submitted the POD, you can view the recorded temperature in the job details on the dashboard.
