In Detrack, there are various ways to sort jobs in the driver app such as the driver’s nearest location, the job sequence of the job, or by the ETA of the job.
In this article, we will explain how you can sort jobs in the driver app based on their estimated time of arrival (ETA). This helps drivers prioritize jobs according to the job’s ETA.
(ETAs are provided either from your job import file or from your route optimization details)
Setting up this feature
To configure this setting, you can navigate to Settings > Job > Options.
Enable Sort by ETA Time and click Save.
Important: Make sure auto sorting is disabled. If auto sorting is enabled, it will override the ETA time sorting and sort jobs based on location instead.
When This Setting Is Enabled
Jobs in the driver app are sorted according to their ETA, with the earliest scheduled jobs appearing first.
When This Setting Is Disabled
Jobs are now not sorted according to ETA.
Instead, jobs will be sorted by the job sequence field if the Auto Sort Jobs feature is turned off
