The Timeline View gives you a bird's-eye view of all your drivers' assigned jobs and ETA for each job on a single screen.

Instead of switching between the job table and the map view, you can see everyone's schedule side by side, spot delays instantly, and understand your entire operation at a glance.

The Timeline View displays each driver as a horizontal lane, with their jobs shown as colored blocks arranged by time of day. This lets you instantly see:

  • Route density — how tightly packed each driver's schedule is

  • Punctuality — which drivers and which jobs are on time or at risk of running late

How To Utilize This Feature

To be able to utilize this feature, jobs must have the following condition:

  • Jobs must be assigned to a driver for it to be visible on the lanes of the timeline.

  • An ETA time value provided for each job that is assigned to a driver
    - You can generate ETA time by using Detrack Route Optimization
    - Or by manually inputting an ETA time value during job import or via the job form

Understanding the colors/legend

To help you visualize whether a job is on time or at risk of running late, we have various status indicators with different color legends.

The statuses available are Not Started, On Time, At Risk, Late, On Time, Late, On Hold.

For more accurate ETA statuses, you can turn on the Live ETA feature
