How To Customize Job Status

Detrack's default job statuses can be renamed to match your internal workflow and the language your customers use, so everything feels consistent from dispatch to delivery.

For example, you might rename "Completed" to "Delivered" or "Job Done" if your team prefers something more informal.

Note: This feature must be enabled by the Detrack support team. Pleasecontact support to request access to custom status configuration.

Enabling Custom Status

Navigate to Settings > Job > Status.

Once the feature is enabled by support, check the Enable Custom Status checkbox to activate custom status configuration.

You can now rename each status to match your workflow. Click Save to apply your changes.


Where Custom Statuses Are Reflected

Once configured, your custom statuses will appear throughout Detrack in these areas:

  • Jobs page (Today's Jobs, Calendar, Vehicles, Recurring Schedule, Search Jobs, Bulk Search, Bulk Update)

  • Map

  • Routes

  • Reports (Daily Summary, Job Summary, Export File)

  • Tracking Widget (Preview, Legends)

  • Rate Cards (Job Pricing)

  • Settings (Default Job Status dropdown)
