By default, drivers can only take new photos through the Driver App camera to submit as proof of delivery. Enabling this setting lets drivers also select photos from their phone’s gallery, which is useful if they’ve taken reference photos before completing a job or need to upload a photo captured outside the app.
Enabling The Setting
Navigate to Settings > Delivery > POD or Settings > Collection > POD and enable Allow drivers to select photo from photo gallery.
You can enable this for deliveries, collections, or both depending on your workflow.
Click Save to apply.
Driver App Experience
When this setting is enabled:
The driver opens a job, taps the camera icon, then taps Take Photo Proof.
A selection menu will appear with two options:
Take new photo to capture a new photo with the camera
Choose from gallery to select a saved photo from the phone’s gallery
The driver can select one or more photos from their gallery to attach to the POD. Once photos are selected, Take Photo Proof will change to Remove Photo Proof in the Select Action menu.
The driver can continue adding more photos or submit the POD once done.
