In Detrack, every job must be created with a D.O. No. (Delivery Order Number) or a C.O No. (Collection Order Number) as a reference for your job.

With this feature, you can let Detrack auto-generate a D.O No.instead of manually providing order numbers.

The auto generated D.O. No. will start with a pre-fix of DET. (e.g. DET13652364)

You can configure this setting via Settings > Job > Options.

When This Setting Is Enabled

When auto-generation is enabled:

  • The D.O. No. field (for deliveries) or C.O. No. field (for collections) will be not be able to take in any manual input in the Job Form

  • The system automatically assigns a unique order number with the prefix DET (e.g., DET13652364)

Note:

  • When importing jobs via CSV or Excel, the D.O. No. or C.O. No. column can be omitted

  • If you include a D.O. No. or C.O. No. column in your import file with values, those values will be used instead of auto-generated numbers

When This Setting Is Disabled (Default)

When auto-generation is disabled:

  • You will be able to manually input the D.O. No. field (for deliveries) or C.O. No. field (for collections) in the Job Form when creating jobs manually. You must provide an order number for each job during manual creation
