You can have a serial no. barcode be displayed on the Proof of Delivery (PDF) by having drivers scan barcodes directly from the Driver app. This makes it easy to confirm the correct item has been delivered.
To setup this up, you will have to configure a few settings on the Detrack dashboard and instruct your drivers on how to scan a barcode via the driver app
1 - Enabling the Setting on the dashboard
Step 1 - Enabling the Serial No. field
Navigate to Settings > Job > Fields.
Enable Serial No. > Save.
Step 2 - Enabling the barcode to be displayed on the POD
Navigate to Settings > PDF.
Check Print serial no. barcode (Code 39) > Save.
How Drivers can capture a barcode via the Driver App
Step 1 - Navigate to the job details page & tap on the Camera icon.
Step 2 - Tap Capture QR / Barcode.
Step 3- Scan the barcode or QR code with the camera.
Step 4 - Complete the job.
Once this is done by your driver, you can then view the POD and see the barcode appearing
