Courier Mode is defined as your driver collecting goods from Point A and delivering the same goods to Point B i.e. 2 different milestones of the same job.
If you have a collection that is tied to a delivery job, meaning the collection must take place before the delivery can happen, you can enable the Courier Mode feature to link the collection and the delivery job together.
When this option is enabled, deliveries and collections with the same D.O. No. are grouped together (with arrow icons) on the Driver’s app main screen to indicate their relationship.
For this Courier Mode, your driver must grab both collection and delivery of the same courier job (same D.O. No.) in Marketplace.
Also, when transferring job from one driver to the other, both collection and delivery of the same courier job have to be transferred together unless the collection has already been completed (and thus transferring only the delivery).
In the Detrack app, your driver cannot submit POD for a courier delivery before the courier collection is completed.
Steps
Go to Settings > Job > Options.
Switch on Enable Courier Mode and click Save.
Usage
Create 2 separate Collection and Delivery jobs with the same D.O. No..
Assign both the Collection and Delivery jobs to the same vehicle, and the linked jobs will appear together with a pair of Up and Down arrows binding them together.
