How To Automatically Trigger "Head To The Next Location"
This feature allows you to send automated notifications to your customers when their driver begins heading to their location.
When a driver completes a job, the system immediately selects the next destination on the job list and triggers a notification to that customer. This keeps customers informed about their delivery status without requiring any manual action from the driver.
How To Enable This Setting
Navigate to Settings > Job > Options.
Enable Automatically Trigger "Head To The Next Location". Click Save.
Understanding how the ‘Head to Location’ feature works
In the absence of this automatic trigger, a driver will have to manually select their next destination in the driver app by selecting the ‘Head to Location’ action
Driver chooses the job that he is heading to next. Tap Yes to confirm.
An email notification is automatically sent to the customer indicating that the driver is on the way.
Understanding how the Automatic Trigger works
When a driver completes a job:
Driver completes a job and submits the POD.
Upon job completion, the system automatically selects the next location that the driver is heading to, which enables a notification to be sent automatically
An email notification is automatically sent to the customer indicating the driver is on the way to their location.
Important Warning
Use this feature with caution:
If the driver doesn't follow the job sequence order or takes a break between jobs, customers may receive notifications before the driver is actually ready to head to their location.
If jobs are added or deleted while drivers are in the middle of their route, this may trigger unintended notifications to customers.
