Mandatory Fields

There are 3 mandatory fields for a job in Detrack.

Check that your Excel / CSV file contains the following fields.

  • D.O. Number => Identifier for your job.

  • Date => Date for performing the job.

  • Address => Location to perform the job.

Date Format Mismatch

Mismatch of date format can cause the Excel / CSV Import to fail.

To select the date format,

  • Navigate to Settings > Job > Options > Import Date Format > Select the relevant date format.

  • Click Save when done.

Headers Mismatch

  • Check Headers (usually first row of the file), and ensure that they match that under Jobs > Settings > Fields.

  • Check for blank lines.

Excel Data Format Issue

The default data type in Excel contains certain formula that can interfere with the file upload.

  • Set the data type is set to Text.

  • Set your import file to be the first worksheet in your Excel file.

  • Check that there are no empty rows (at the end of the file).
